Environmental™ at its refineries throughout the United States. opsEnvironmental is an enterprise-level environmental management information system (EMIS) software suite, delivering tools for multimedia environmental data management and compliance management.
Shell and Motiva recognized the need to identify and implement a consistent set of tools that enable individual refineries to effectively manage and report refinery environmental compliance data and associated performance measures in a manner that is cost effective. Furthermore, they sought to conduct roll-up reporting of environmental compliance and performance measures to satisfy environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) reporting requirements. Ultimately, Shell and Motiva hope to improve and streamline task identification and tracking, environmental data management, and reporting.
In addition, T3 will work with Shell and Motiva to standardize and streamline the demonstration of compliance with federal regulatory programs at its refineries. Standardizing the demonstration for compliance entails identifying and adapting a single compliance demonstration methodology for a given regulation. Streamlining compliance demonstration includes grouping similar compliance demonstration activities that are repeated for several sources and source types across a facility.
